Welcome to MarketplaceIQ, a product of Damay Enterprises LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using our service at marketplaceiq.app, you agree to the following terms.
MarketplaceIQ is a resale intelligence scanner that helps you identify secondhand items and retrieve real sold pricing data from eBay. The service is currently in beta and features may change without notice.
You must be at least 13 years old to use MarketplaceIQ. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
You may use MarketplaceIQ for personal resale research and sourcing intelligence. You may not scrape, crawl, or programmatically access MarketplaceIQ data. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit pricing data obtained from this service. You may not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the service.
We collect your name, email, scan history, and item photos to provide and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. De-identified, aggregate scan data may power public content and features within the Damay Enterprises family of apps (such as MapMySales) — never your personal data. With your consent, we may record the approximate location of a scan for location-based features; you can turn this off in Settings. We keep your uploaded photos for 6 months, then delete them; your scan history summary stays in your account while it's active. Pricing data comes from publicly available eBay sold listings. You can request deletion of your account and data by contacting support. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
Photos you upload are stored privately in access-controlled storage to enable identification, and are permanently deleted after 6 months per the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy. Scan results and pricing data are for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial advice.
MarketplaceIQ offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time through your account settings — cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Prices are shown plus applicable tax.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings by selecting Manage Subscription. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then. All subscription charges are non-refundable. MarketplaceIQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of item identification, pricing data, or demand metrics. Pricing information is derived from publicly available eBay sold listings and may not reflect current market conditions. Always verify pricing independently before making purchasing decisions. Service availability may be interrupted for maintenance or updates.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Damay Enterprises LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of MarketplaceIQ, including but not limited to inaccurate item identification, incorrect pricing data, or missed resale opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of MarketplaceIQ shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Benton County, Arkansas. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
MarketplaceIQ, its design, features, and original content are the property of Damay Enterprises LLC. Pricing data sourced from eBay remains the property of eBay Inc. If you believe content on MarketplaceIQ infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us at support@marketplaceiq.app.
We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you'll keep full access to your paid features until then. No penalties, no fees, no questions asked.
Tap the ⚙ menu, then Manage Subscription. You'll be taken to your billing portal where you can cancel, change plans, or update your payment method. You can also email support@marketplaceiq.app and we'll handle it for you.
All subscription charges are non-refundable. MarketplaceIQ offers a free tier so you can evaluate the service before upgrading. By subscribing to a paid plan, you acknowledge that you've had the opportunity to try the product and are satisfied with its value. If you're unhappy with the service, you can cancel anytime and your access continues through the end of your billing period.
MarketplaceIQ offers a free tier with limited scans. Free accounts have no billing and can be used indefinitely. If you cancel a paid plan, your account reverts to the free tier — you won't lose your scan history or account data.

MarketplaceIQ ("we," "us," "our") is operated by Damay Enterprises LLC. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app at marketplaceiq.app.
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and password. Your password is managed securely by our authentication provider (Supabase) and is never accessible to us in plain text.
Scan data: When you scan an item, we process the photos you upload, item identification results, and pricing data. Scan results (item name, brand, estimated price, confidence score) are stored in your account so you can review your scan history.
Photos: Photos you upload are stored in private, access-controlled cloud storage to enable item identification. They are not publicly accessible and are shown to you only through short-lived, signed links. Photos are associated with your account and kept with your scan history, subject to the retention schedule below.
Location (optional): With your consent, we may record the approximate location (about 100 meters) where a scan was taken, to power location-based features. This is optional and consent-gated — you can decline, or turn it off at any time in Settings. We never attach precise location to any public output.
Usage data: We log feature usage and scan activity to improve the service. This data is associated with your account.
Analytics: If you accept our cookie banner, we use PostHog (a third-party product analytics service) to capture anonymous pageview, session, and referrer data so we can understand how the app is used and improve it. PostHog sets cookies for session identification but does not collect names, email addresses, scan content, or payment details. Analytics is opt-in only — you can change your preference at any time in Settings → Analytics Cookies. If you decline, no analytics events are sent.
Feedback: Messages you submit through the feedback form are stored and forwarded to our support team via email.
Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details. We receive your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your account tier.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers, solely to operate the app. (Separately, we may use and share de-identified, aggregate data as described under “De-Identified & Aggregate Data” below — that never includes your personal scan history or anything that identifies you.)
We use browser local storage to preserve your session state and your analytics consent choice. We use cookies for two purposes:
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies for marketing.
We keep the photos you upload for 6 months, then permanently delete them. Your scan history summary — item, price, condition, and tip, without the photo — stays available in your account for as long as your account is active. We keep de-identified, aggregate scan data indefinitely to power features and improve the service (see “De-Identified & Aggregate Data” below). Security and abuse-prevention logs are retained for about 18 months. You can delete your account and personal data at any time by contacting support.
When we combine data across many scans in aggregate, the resulting information — such as item type, category, price, and approximate area — is not tied to any individual. We may use this de-identified, aggregate data to:
We never sell your personal data, and we never attach your identity or precise location to any public output. We do not attempt to re-identify de-identified data, and we maintain it only in aggregate form.

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), JWT authentication, row-level security on our database, rate limiting, and security event monitoring. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
MarketplaceIQ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
